Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information LIFEXPAN MEXICO S. de R.L. de C.V. (“LifeXpan,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects through us.lifexpan.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. We’ve written it to be clear and easy to read.
The short version: we collect only what we need to run our waitlist, answer your questions and improve the Site. We don’t use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
1. Who we are
The business responsible for your personal information is:
LIFEXPAN MEXICO S. de R.L. de C.V.
Jacaranda 60, Altozano, Cuauhtémoc, Colima 28530, Mexico
Email: hola@us.lifexpan.com
LifeXpan® is the brand name we use on this Site.
2. Information we collect
Waitlist
Our U.S. store hasn’t opened yet. When you join the waitlist we collect:
- Your email address (required) and your first name (optional).
- Where you came from: the website or campaign link (for example, UTM parameters) that first brought you to the Site. Your browser keeps this for up to 30 days and sends it with your sign-up.
- Optional profile questions. After you sign up, we may ask four quick, optional questions: your age, your city, how you heard about us, and which supplements you currently take. You can skip any or all of them.
We use double opt-in: we send you an email to confirm your address before you’re added to the list and receive your personal discount code. If you don’t confirm within 30 days, we delete any profile answers you gave us.
Sensitive personal information
Information about the supplements you take may reveal information about your health. We only store it if you check a separate consent box, and only to understand which products our community is interested in and to serve you better. We never use it to infer other characteristics about you, never sell or share it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us — we’ll delete it.
Site statistics (no cookies)
To understand how the Site is used, we measure page views, clicks, how far you scroll, time on page, the referring website or campaign, device type (phone, tablet or computer), language and the country of the visit. We do this without cookies or anything stored in your browser:
- Our server recognizes a visit with a daily fingerprint: a one-way code calculated from your IP address and browser with a random value that changes every day and is deleted the next day. It can’t be used to identify you or to follow you from one day to the next.
- We don’t store your IP address. We only keep the country of the visit — never your city or precise location.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we don’t collect these statistics at all.
Chat assistant
The Site offers an AI-powered chat assistant that answers questions about our products, how to take them, shipping and the topics on our blog. You don’t need to identify yourself. We store each question you type and the assistant’s answer, the page you asked from, the store and language, and a random identifier for your browser. We don’t know who you are and don’t store your IP address with the conversation. If you type an email address or phone number into the chat, it is redacted before it’s saved. Your conversation is also saved in your browser’s storage so you can pick it up later; you can clear it anytime with “New conversation.”
The assistant provides general information and is not a substitute for your doctor or pharmacist. Please don’t type health information or other personal details into the chat — it doesn’t need them to help you.
Talking to a person: if you ask to speak with our team from the chat, we’ll ask for your email address (and your name, if you like) so we can reply. Your question and that chat conversation are passed to our support team.
When you contact us
If you email us, we collect your email address, your message and anything you choose to include, so we can respond.
When the store opens
Once we start selling in the U.S., we’ll also collect the information needed to process your orders (such as your name, shipping address, phone number and order history). Payments will be handled by our payment processor; we don’t store your full card number. We’ll update this Policy before then.
3. How we use your information
- To run the waitlist: confirm your email, send your personal discount code and let you know when the store opens.
- To answer your questions through the chat or by email.
- To understand which products and markets to prioritize, using optional profile answers.
- To measure and improve the Site, the chat assistant and our content.
- To protect the Site, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Emails from us
Waitlist members receive a small number of emails: the confirmation request, your discount code, the launch announcement and occasional launch updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link and our postal address. If you unsubscribe, we’ll stop sending you these emails and remove you from the list, keeping only the minimum needed to respect your choice.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Site, under contracts that limit their use of it to providing services to us:
- Supabase: database and server functions.
- Bunny.net: website hosting and content delivery.
- Resend: sending our emails.
- Anthropic: the artificial intelligence behind the chat assistant.
When the store opens, we’ll also work with a payment processor and shipping carriers. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your information.
6. Cookies and browser storage
We don’t use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. The Site uses your browser’s storage only for things that make it work: your language, your chat conversation and, for up to 30 days, the link that first brought you to the Site (sent with your waitlist sign-up). We honor Global Privacy Control signals.
7. How long we keep information
- Waitlist: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Profile answers from unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 30 days.
- Chat conversations: 180 days.
- Site statistics: page events for 120 days and visit summaries for 400 days. The daily fingerprint can’t be linked across days.
- Emails with our team: as long as needed to help you and handle any follow-up.
8. Your U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on where you live — including California (CCPA, as amended by the CPRA), Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with consumer privacy laws — you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we’ve collected about you, and receive a copy in a portable format.
- Delete your personal information.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising and profiling. We don’t sell or share personal information or use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of — but you may still contact us.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We only use it for the purposes described above, with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
How to make a request: email us at hola@us.lifexpan.com with the subject line “Privacy request.” We’ll verify your request by confirming access to the email address associated with your information, and we’ll respond within 45 days (we may extend this once by another 45 days where the law allows, and we’ll let you know). You can use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof that the agent is authorized. Because chat conversations are anonymous, we may need the approximate date and wording of your questions to find them.
Appeals: if we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our response. If you’re not satisfied with the outcome of the appeal, you may contact your state attorney general.
Categories collected in the last 12 months (California notice): identifiers (email address, first name, random browser identifier); internet or other electronic network activity (pages viewed, clicks, referring site, chat questions); approximate location (country only, plus the city you choose to tell us); characteristics you choose to share (age); and sensitive personal information (supplements you take, only with your consent). Sources: you, your device and browser. Purposes and recipients: as described in sections 3 and 5. We have not sold or shared personal information in the last 12 months.
California “Shine the Light”: we don’t disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
9. Children’s privacy
Our Site and products are intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and the waitlist is meant for people 18 and older. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us at hola@us.lifexpan.com and we’ll delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to the people who need it.
11. Where your information is processed
We are based in Mexico, and our service providers may process information in the United States, Mexico, the European Union and other countries. Wherever it is processed, we protect it as described in this Policy.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as the Site, our services or the law change — for example, when our store opens. We’ll post the new version here with a new effective date, and if the changes are significant, we’ll let you know by email or with a notice on the Site.
